The BoneFish Lodge has seven suites which can accommodate a maximum of 14 guests. The rooms feature locally grown Honduran pine floors, and the bathrooms offer custom tile with granite counters. Each suite in the lodge has hot water, air conditioning, ceiling fans, microwaves, refrigerators, coffee makers and a TV. You will find our commitment to Mother Nature was taken into consideration while building our lodge and resort. The roof of the lodge is notched to protect the surrounding trees, which means no trees were cut down to accommodate our building efforts.

To further support our approach to living lightly on Mother Earth, our sewer system is a three stage process. By the end of the third phase we have potable water used for irrigation of our gardens. There is no waste water from the lodge at Upachaya. In addition we’ve incorporated policies in our operations which include recycling; no single use water bottles; composting; no pesticides or herbicides used in the gardens; and sustainability by using the fruits, vegetables and herbs grown on the property in the meals served to our guests.
